How It Started
Kelsus was founded in 2008 when Jon Christensen was living in Uruguay. After losing his only client during the financial crisis, he was tasked with building a development team in Resistencia, Argentina.
In a windowless room in a casino hotel, he met Fede, Jony, and Raúl — three computer science graduates from the local university. They learned together, ate every meal together, and built something that lasted.
The turning point came during a surf lesson in La Jolla, then dinner in Cardiff by the Sea. Raúl asked if Jon would continue working with them beyond the current client. Jon said yes without hesitation. They shook hands.
